Anyone can benefit from our project because communication is used and needed everywhere. In every field and business there are unfavorable situations that arise that require proper communication management. Mainly, we'd like to target individuals either going into or are already in a significant role that has the most influence to create change in crisis situations.

CONCEPT PROPOSAL

Corporate business directors, public relation specialists, journalists, government officials and even emergency responders all share a common need in anticipating crisis situations. The process of how a crisis is communicated is a very detailed one. Knowing how to frame a message strategically with the best interests of your company/department as well as the public is a difficult skill. We hope those interested in crisis communication find our research materials useful and insightful. Below is a picture of our brainstorming ideas for this website.

3 PRODUCTION TIPS:

1. ALWAYS BE READY TO SHOOT –You have to be on your toes constantly looking for moments to capture. Make sure you're familiar with the equipment, know how to set it up properly, and bring extra batteries for unexpected emergencies.

2. KEEP IN MIND THE COMPOSITION –Plan ahead of time the composition that you'd like focus on. What kind of lighting would enhance the message of my story? How many angles should I consider using? Where should the subject be in the frame? Is there enough head room?

3. SHOOT EVERYTHING –Sometimes the best captured moments are the ones caught unintentional. You can always go through your footage later to determine what is useful and what isn't. What you can't do is film something that happened.
